Tredegar Iron Works

A trip to Richmond, Virginia last year gave witness to one of the wonders of the Confederacy. Tredegar Iron Works, situated along the James River and now the home to the National Park Service Visitor's Center, turned out about 1,000 cannon during the war, nearly half of that produced in the south. I've included a few pictures below. In a few of the pictures, I edited out signs or other modern intrusions. Enjoy.
