The very act of doing so invited disaster -- financial, personal, and social, on a significant portion of our population. Tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians are susceptible to one or both of the twin addictions that come with gambling: alcohol and gambling. <BR/><BR/>What an utter shame that our elected officials have exposed us this way to such grave risk.
